Absolutely beautiful saree

The colour of the saree was as shown on the website. Loved the fabric and uniqueness in my saree.
I received delivery next day (in mumbai). Overall, very happy with the purchase.

The fabrics are authentic, pure and slip loving. It’s a treat for both eyes and body.

As before, my ordered item was sent speedily and efficiently. It was just as shown online - one of the many beautiful hand crafted fabrics in the tastefully curated Matkatus collection.

And there is a story: I saw and instantly liked the fabric, an ajrakh print of yellow leaves on dark green. Green ajrakh is not that common, in fact overall green hand block prints are not often seen. But, the piece was too small for a shirt for me. My email about it was answered saying they would inform me if more stocks of it came but that was not likely as usually the prints are not repeated: I can understand that, since they are hand made in small batches.

Scanning the Matkatus site quite some time later I found my selected piece still there, plus another one exactly the same; also too small for me, but together they would be enough for a shirt.

Visiting the tailor today to collect the shirt made from my previous Matkatus purchase, a beautiful indigo print, I showed him the two pieces and he said yes, he could make my shirt from these. I look forward to wearing that.

This little story has a 'moral' too: keep looking, you never know - you may find just what you wanted.
